Carmine S. Visone is a graduate of St. John's University, with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.  His graduate work was completed at Wagner College where he earned a Masters Degree in both Finance and Management.

Carmine Visone, along with his wife Phyllis, have dedicated themselves to the mission of educating the youngest members of our society.

Carmine Visone, along with his wife Phyllis, have dedicated themselves to the mission of educating the youngest members of our society. The Visones strongly believe that early childhood education is the keystone to academic success later in life. They are owners of the Home Away from Home Academy, located on the Holmdel - Aberdeen border on Route 34. Students come to the school from nearby towns such as Rumson, Colts Neck, Holmdel, Morganville, Marlboro, and Manalapan.
Carmine stresses that there are three key ingredients necessary for young children to successfully learn. First is that the children should feel safe. Second is that they should feel loved. Third is that they should be happy in their learning environment.
The Visones have authored a book espousing their philosophy of education. As Carmine states, Between 0 and 7 years old, human beings acquire 50% of the knowledge they will have through their lives. That is why he has dedicated himself to education issues and systems for use during those years. The book highlights the Visone teaching method as well as tips on how to select a good preschool, along with other scholastic advice.
